Just so everyone is clear, after today (we just sent the last couple cd’s out) the version of “Transience” that we’ve been supporting the past year will no longer be representative of They Come In Waves. We now consider is the “Transience Demos”. You can still purchase these through our web store and at shows until it is re-released however!

After another year of somewhat floating around, I think we say in good conscious that 2011 looks very promising! Over 3 years of haphazardly being a band has been interesting to look back on and we’ve already set in motion an idea we wont let fail. Transience (again) is nearing completion and it feels like we wanted it too all along. A good deal of time and care has gone into these sessions because as fortunate as we feel to have this second chance, we’re ready to move on. We have 3 songs for our next record (two of which we’ve been playing live for the past year) completely done with skeletons for 2-3 more. We’re also excited to have our first vinyl release with a brand new song to boot, a 7” split with the greater Detroit area’s Great Reversals! There’s is plenty more we can elaborate on but for the sake of keeping this short, VIVA WAVES 2011!
